Verse 90

بِئْسَمَا ٱشْتَرَوْا۟ بِهِۦٓ أَنفُسَهُمْ أَن يَكْفُرُوا۟ بِمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ بَغْيًا أَن يُنَزِّلَ ٱللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِۦ عَلَىٰ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦ فَبَآءُو بِغَضَبٍ عَلَىٰ غَضَبٍ وَلِلْكَـٰفِرِينَ عَذَابٌ مُّهِينٌ

They certainly made a poor choice by rejecting what God has revealed, because they were jealous that God bestows from His bounty to whomever He wills from amongst His servants. Consequently, they received wrath upon wrath, and awaiting the unfaithful is a humiliating suffering.
