بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
In the name of God; The All-Gracious, The All-Merciful.
وَيْلٌ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُّمَزَةٍ
Woe to every slanderer, backbiter.
ٱلَّذِى جَمَعَ مَالًا وَعَدَّدَهُۥ
The one who piles up money and counts it.
يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخْلَدَهُۥ
He thinks his money makes him immortal.
كَلَّا لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِى ٱلْحُطَمَةِ
Absolutely not, he will be thrown into the devastator.
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْحُطَمَةُ
And do you know what the devastator is?
نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُوقَدَةُ
God’s self-igniting fire.
ٱلَّتِى تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةِ
That which burns from the inside.
إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِم مُّؤْصَدَةٌ
It will indeed completely surround them.
فِى عَمَدٍ مُّمَدَّدَةٍۭ
