بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
Chapter 86. الطَّارِقِ. The Night Visitor. In the name of God; The All-Gracious, The All-Merciful.
وَٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلطَّارِقِ
By the vacuum and the Night Visitor.
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلطَّارِقُ
And do you realize what the Night Visitor is?
ٱلنَّجْمُ ٱلثَّاقِبُ
The piercing star.
إِن كُلُّ نَفْسٍ لَّمَّا عَلَيْهَا حَافِظٌ
Indeed, every soul has a guard.
فَلْيَنظُرِ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ مِمَّ خُلِقَ
Therefore, let the human being ponder from what he has been created.
خُلِقَ مِن مَّآءٍ دَافِقٍ
He was created from an ejected liquid.
يَخْرُجُ مِنۢ بَيْنِ ٱلصُّلْبِ وَٱلتَّرَآئِبِ
It comes out from the middle of the spine and the chest.
إِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ رَجْعِهِۦ لَقَادِرٌ
He is indeed powerful to bring him back.
يَوْمَ تُبْلَى ٱلسَّرَآئِرُ
The day when all secrets are exposed.
فَمَا لَهُۥ مِن قُوَّةٍ وَلَا نَاصِرٍ
Then he will have no power and no helper.
وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلرَّجْعِ
By the vacuum as it naturally rotates.
وَٱلْأَرْضِ ذَاتِ ٱلصَّدْعِ
By the matter with natural voids.
إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوْلٌ فَصْلٌ
Indeed this is a detailed narration.
وَمَا هُوَ بِٱلْهَزْلِ
It is not a joke.
إِنَّهُمْ يَكِيدُونَ كَيْدًا
Indeed they are devising a plan.
وَأَكِيدُ كَيْدًا
And I am planning a plan.
فَمَهِّلِ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ أَمْهِلْهُمْ رُوَيْدًۢا
Therefore give the unfaithful a little while longer.
