الإنفطار

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

In the name of God; The All-Gracious, The All-Merciful.

إِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ ٱنفَطَرَتْ

When the vacuum disintegrates.

وَإِذَا ٱلْكَوَاكِبُ ٱنتَثَرَتْ

And when the planets are crushed.

وَإِذَا ٱلْبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتْ

And when the oceans explode.

وَإِذَا ٱلْقُبُورُ بُعْثِرَتْ

And when the graves are opened.

عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَّا قَدَّمَتْ وَأَخَّرَتْ

Every soul will know what caused her to advance and regress.

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ ٱلْكَرِيمِ

O you human being, what made you divert from your Lord, Possessor of Honor,-

ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكَ فَسَوَّىٰكَ فَعَدَلَكَ

-the One who created you, perfected you and set you right?

فِىٓ أَىِّ صُورَةٍ مَّا شَآءَ رَكَّبَكَ

In whatever image He willed, He constructed you.

كَلَّا بَلْ تُكَذِّبُونَ بِٱلدِّينِ

Absolutely, you reject the Faith.

وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ لَحَـٰفِظِينَ

However, there are indeed guards around you.

كِرَامًا كَـٰتِبِينَ

They are honest recorders.

يَعْلَمُونَ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ

They know everything you do.

إِنَّ ٱلْأَبْرَارَ لَفِى نَعِيمٍ

Indeed, the righteous, will be in bliss.

وَإِنَّ ٱلْفُجَّارَ لَفِى جَحِيمٍ

And indeed the evil-doers will be in the Inferno.

يَصْلَوْنَهَا يَوْمَ ٱلدِّينِ

They will enter therein on the Day of Faith.

وَمَا هُمْ عَنْهَا بِغَآئِبِينَ

And they will never be absent therein.

وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ

And do you realize what the Day of Faith is?

ثُمَّ مَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ

Again, do you realize what the Day of Faith is?

يَوْمَ لَا تَمْلِكُ نَفْسٌ لِّنَفْسٍ شَيْـًٔا وَٱلْأَمْرُ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلَّهِ

The Day when no soul shall have any power to do anything for another soul and all decisions on that day belong to God.
