بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
In the name of God; The All-Gracious, The All-Merciful.
تَبَّتْ يَدَآ أَبِى لَهَبٍ وَتَبَّ
Condemned shall be the deeds of Abee Lahab and he is condemned.
مَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ
Neither his money nor his earnings benefit him.
سَيَصْلَىٰ نَارًا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍ
He will soon burn in the blazing fire.
وَٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلْحَطَبِ
And his wife shall carry the fuel.
فِى جِيدِهَا حَبْلٌ مِّن مَّسَدٍۭ
Around her neck will be a rope of thorns.
