بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
In the name of God; The All-Gracious, The All-Merciful.
وَٱلضُّحَىٰ
By the forenoon.
وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا سَجَىٰ
By the night as it falls.
مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَىٰ
Your Lord has not forsaken you nor is He displeased with you.
وَلَلْـَٔاخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْأُولَىٰ
And indeed the Hereafter is much better for you than this first life.
وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضَىٰٓ
And your Lord will soon give you plenty, you will then be satisfied.
أَلَمْ يَجِدْكَ يَتِيمًا فَـَٔاوَىٰ
Did He not find you fatherless and gave you a home?
وَوَجَدَكَ ضَآلًّا فَهَدَىٰ
And He found you astray, and He guided you.
وَوَجَدَكَ عَآئِلًا فَأَغْنَىٰ
And He found you poor and He made you rich.
فَأَمَّا ٱلْيَتِيمَ فَلَا تَقْهَرْ
Therefore, do not treat the fatherless harshly.
وَأَمَّا ٱلسَّآئِلَ فَلَا تَنْهَرْ
And as for the beggar, do not reprimand him.
وَأَمَّا بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثْ
And narrate about your Lord’s blessings.
