Verse 145

وَمَا كَانَ لِنَفْسٍ أَن تَمُوتَ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ كِتَـٰبًا مُّؤَجَّلًا وَمَن يُرِدْ ثَوَابَ ٱلدُّنْيَا نُؤْتِهِۦ مِنْهَا وَمَن يُرِدْ ثَوَابَ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ نُؤْتِهِۦ مِنْهَا وَسَنَجْزِى ٱلشَّـٰكِرِينَ

And no soul dies except with God’s permission according to a specific recorded time. Furthermore, whoever wishes the reward of this world, We will give him therefrom and whoever wishes the reward of the Hereafter, We will give him therefrom. And We thus reward those who are grateful.
