Verse 58

وَرَبُّكَ ٱلْغَفُورُ ذُو ٱلرَّحْمَةِ لَوْ يُؤَاخِذُهُم بِمَا كَسَبُوا۟ لَعَجَّلَ لَهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابَ بَل لَّهُم مَّوْعِدٌ لَّن يَجِدُوا۟ مِن دُونِهِۦ مَوْئِلًا

And your Lord is All Forgiving, possessor of mercy. Had He willed to question them because of what they earned He would have indeed quickened the punishment for them. However, they have an appointed time when they cannot find any sanctuary besides Him.
