Verse 40

وَجَزَٰٓؤُا۟ سَيِّئَةٍ سَيِّئَةٌ مِّثْلُهَا فَمَنْ عَفَا وَأَصْلَحَ فَأَجْرُهُۥ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

Although the requital for a bad deed is an equivalent bad deed, those who pardon and maintain righteousness, then their recompense is with God. Indeed He does not love transgressors.
