Verse 8

يَسْمَعُ ءَايَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ يُصِرُّ مُسْتَكْبِرًا كَأَن لَّمْ يَسْمَعْهَا فَبَشِّرْهُ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ

He hears God’s proofs recited to him, yet he arrogantly remains defiant, as though he had not heard them. Consequently, give him the news of a painful suffering.
