Verse 8

وَكَأَيِّن مِّن قَرْيَةٍ عَتَتْ عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهَا وَرُسُلِهِۦ فَحَاسَبْنَـٰهَا حِسَابًا شَدِيدًا وَعَذَّبْنَـٰهَا عَذَابًا نُّكْرًا

And many communities opposed the command of their Lord and His messengers, consequently, We called them to account, through ultimate mathematics, and We made them suffer, a horrendous suffering.
